How & What to book: some tips…

1. You can book me for the following:
- Pro Studio Mixes (mixed in Ableton)
- 100% vinyl sets
- Digital sets (both vinyl and digital or 100% digital)

2. Booking a vinyl set is a premium service. Even better, if you know what you are after (i.e. you can talk me through record labels, ‘the sound’ or the era), let me know. I generally own a lot of deep…if you say something like ‘play Naked Music’ or ‘Kerri Chandler’, I’ll know what to do.

3. Always book in advance.

4. I have spent a lifetime digitising my records so I can play a vinyl set on digital. This means that I will use one of three controllers that I own and connect to the house mixer via Traktor Audio 2.

5. Setup: I generally like playing on an analogue mixer (I use a Carl Cox designed Vestax PMC-CX in the studio…rotary suits best). The table height should be 1m with room to setup a controller and laptop either directly behind the mixer or diagonally to either the left or right of the rear of the mixer. Always have a monitor as part of the setup.

6. I don’t do the whole request thing…

7. Deep is generally my thing but there are many shades of deep when it comes to Deep House Music.
